Antillian House :)

A visit to Iloilo City will never be complete without touring its grand mansions. Sitting just a few meters away from the Nelly Garden is the Don Jose Araneta's Antillian House. Simply known as the Antillian House. So called because many people believe that the architectural design is patterned after the houses in Antilles. The Antillian House was owned by the Araneta Family who also owned the Pearl of the Pacific Boracay. The Mansion was purely influenced by the Spanish architecture for its structures and designs both in and out. Antillian House was built during 1723 and said to be a perfect example of Bahay na Bato which has a comedor, azotea, balustrades, etc.
